quote of the day
You know that I write slowly. This is chiefly because I am never satisfied until I have said as much as possible in a few words, and writing briefly takes far more time than writing at length. ~ Carl Friedrich Gauss
Dress codes for a business workplace Aug 29, 11
Talking about business attires, we end up getting a formal dress code that is usually provided to us by a senior professional or the human resource manager of the company in which you are appointed and would be serving for in the coming years. This dress code is neither casual nor trendy. It is formal attire that is a must for every employee in a particular enterprise. Every enterprise has its own dress codes and the employees are required to follow them as per demands.

Dress codes for women include business suits. This comprises of decent skirts paired with matching tops or even a jacket to complement the whole dress. Some enterprises prefer full trousers with matching shirts and a blazer. Footwear comprises of shoes that fully hide your toe. Make sure you are not wearing any distracting jewelry and your hair is well settled. Corporate casuals include smart dress codes. Sleek and knitted jersey, blouses, pants etc are considered as corporate attires. Denims and T-shirts are acceptable sometimes but that too in a casual work environment when you are not accepting any clients or you are working out of your workplace to meet a client.

Generally, in many enterprises, one day is given as an off to formal dresses. On this day, you are allowed to wear dresses other than that specified by the dress code. A T-shirt with the company’s logo on it, paired with matching denims is an option that is most widely preferred in many enterprises.
